    Antique "In Memoriam" Patriotic Postcard
    An American flag across a palm leaf and a gilded laurel leaf with "In Memoriam" honor fallen soldiers. A single soldier with sword salutes those who have gone before. The card was postmarked March 13, 1911 in Kansas City, Missouri. It was mailed from R. L. Parker to Charley Sands of Calhoun, Missouri. The card required a one cent stamp. This embossed card has little wear.
