patch cables are hand made by me using Canare GS-4 cable and our own TSP pancake connectors. Being that the Canare GS-4 is so thin and flexible, it is an excellent choice for wiring tight pedalboards thanks to it's rubberized jacket. At just .157" for the outer diameter, this is pretty much as thin as it gets cable wise, sitting just .002" bigger than the smallest offerings from George L's and Lava.
The lack of excess and bulky heat shrink strain relief allows the cable to keep it's flexibility - this lack of excess relief is not an issue since you won't be constantly plugging/unplugging and twisting/straining these like a regular instrument cable. There is a strip of heat shrink strain relief hidden inside the plug, which is more than enough for a small patch cable like this. The pancake connectors also help with keeping pedals extremely close in order to keep your board as compact as possible.
