  • Condition: As a result of living in Bob's studio, these drums are in remarkable condition and look and sound fantastic! The blue flame graphics are superb and are not faded or yellowed in any way and the only chips that you will find, are a few tiny ones on the bottom of the bass drum hoops. Each drum is factory equipped with black powder coated hardware and fittings, each mounted tom-tom is equipped with a DW STS suspension mounting system. Even the black hardware is in impeccable condition and shine beautifully! Both floor tom-toms are equipped with DW floor tom leg brackets and matching black powder coated legs. The 16" floor tom-tom is missing a single black colored leg.

    Description

    Open to International Bidders! This No Reserve auction, is for a pre-owned Drum Workshop DW "Collectors" series 7-piece drum outfit.
    Sizes are: 5" deep x 8" wide tom-tom, 7" deep x 10" wide tom-tom, 9" deep x 12" wide tom-tom, 10" deep x 13" wide tom-tom, 12" deep x 14" wide floor tom w/legs, 14" deep x 16" wide floor tom w/legs, and a 18" deep x 22" wide bass drum. Each drum is made out of select North American maple and feature twin Collectors series badges.
    All the drums were manufactured in April of 2004, and were hand picked by Bob Gatzen, a well-known Drum consultant and engineer who formerly worked on projects for DW, Noble & Cooley, Zildjian, SIMMONS, EVANS, and D'addario. This drum set resided in his studio and can be seen on many of his instructional videos found on the internet.
