Uses a higher grade of steel (heavier and glides smoother on your skin) than their regular series or Kasho series as well as their improved version of Feather's Rounded Head for a safer but closer shave.
If you were to ask me how to summary this Kai Shavette, I would say it's between Feather's SR & DX line.
Smoother than the SR in design and offers easy close shave (I think the rounded head works better)
One of my top rated Kamisori Style Razors (KAI SALON SELECT Luffy & Feather SR Kamisori)
Frankly I like the
silicone like slip-proof handle
and
the angle of the handle curve
for the Luffy more (as well as the improved Feather like rounded tip) a lot more than the Feather SR....
The Feather SR only wins the Luffy in one thing,
the weight
is better (a few grams heavier).
However, if you use super sharp blades like
Feather's Artist Club ProSuper
or
Kai's Steel Barber
you might not want the heavier feel as me.
