    Description

    Standard size chrome postcard shows two children - a girl and a boy - reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and a pledge of allegiance to the Christian Flag and Savior. Both flags are pictured behind them with the words "Be Though Faithful." "Under God" was added to the Pledge of Allegiance in 1954 in response to the Cold War, dating this card to the mid-late 1950s. Unused; excellent condition. Shadow on the left is a cloudy-day photo issue - the postcard is fine.
