Premier Signia Maple Drum kit Sapphire Blue Lacquer with rack and hardware..
This is my personal drum kit and was purchased in 1990, directly from Premier USA . This kit was made by Premier percussion based in the United Kingdom and was produced during the first year of production for the Signia line. The Signia drum line was the companies first line of ALL MAPLE kit ever offered.
The drums are in excellent condition and sound amazing. This is a professional level kit for a beginner level price.
The Signia series have been used by the likes of Nicko McBrain (Iron Maiden) and Philip Selway (Radiohead) and Brad Wilk (Rage Against The Machine).
The kit is Sapphire Blue lacquer with chrome hardware. The rims and hardware show some tarnishing as would be expected with a vintage kit like these. The includes a rare 14x9 Brass Heavy Rock 9 snare. This snare sounds like a cannon when hit and is one of the loudest and crisp snares I have ever heard. The kit includes the hi hat and ride cymbals.
The 12 inch tom includes the mount, however it is missing the 2 small lug screws that mount it to the drum and the wing bolt that tightens the clamp. The legs for the 16" floor tom are also not included.
The drumheads have all recently been replaced with Evans EC2 drums heads on the rack and floor toms, EMAD2 on the bass drums and a Remo powestroke 777 on the snare.
