I am the original owner and I built this kit in the 1980s and 90s. I have made albums with it and played many shows with it all over the tri-state area. Never once did I ever walk into a club and see anybody with a drum kit that came even close to this. Because of my anal retentive attention to detail, it looks and sounds like it does. You can see and hear this kit on my YouTube Channel here (skip through the silly 3 minute intro):

I have babied this kit since day one, I constantly cleaned it and polished the cymbals when they got dirty, that's why they still look like they do after 30-40+ years. I was always on top of the maintenance and treated it like gold. The cases take a beating so the equipment doesn't. I know that whoever the next owner is that they will not take as good care of it as I did, nobody will.
It hurts to part with this amazing creation that has been my most prized possession for the last 35 years, but I retired from the music biz and it's now time to pass the baton to the next guy with big dreams.
My price is firm, I won't budge on it so don't even ask!! And don’t send me emails asking stuff like… “How much for just the gong bass drum”, or just the Octobans, or the Paiste cymbals, etc. I won’t break up the kit, it’s all or nothing. Obviously this thing is way too big to ship, so you must come to Newton, NJ to pick it up, you'll need a van, a full sized pickup truck or a minivan with no backseats in it to fit it all in.
Good luck!
