Please email with any questions.Circa 1960's or 1970's Gorham silverplate Paul Revere bowl with original blue glass liner. The footed bowl measures 9" across the rim and stands 4 1/4" tall. The glass liner is a gorgeous rich blue with a ground edge and three little felt rounds on the outside to keep it from damage inside the bowl. The bowl has no dents or dings- there are some surface scratches and most of those are on the interior near the upper edge- I think they are from the liner. I love the clean timeless lines and it is very hard to find the original liner intact. My parents had one exactly like it in the 1960's and I remember my mother using it for tossed salads at dinner parties- she would make the salad in the glass liner and keep it in the fridge until it was served. The original owner of this one marked the bottom with an SSN.
