Vintage July 4th Patriotic Postcard Flag Sailor Boy Bursting Thru Firecracker. Nice embossed card with gold accents. Flag shield series that features cute kids. Sometimes I wonder if they are Ellen Clappsaddle drawn kids as they look like her skil and quality . But I’m not sure of that. This sailor boy is my favorite. Bright dynamic composition. Some light wear. Unsent but c. 1910. I have other cards for sale and will always combine shipping Shipped with USPS First Class. But here’s what I go with cards.... above I prefer to use tracking which is the more expensive eBay option. I can send several cards for either price but the lower priced cards I do in stiffened envelope, archival sleeve, and hand cancel, which takes a few days more but doesn’t flatten the embossing in the PO machines. I’m a collector who actively upgrades my own collection of holiday cards so I always have extra to sell.
