1970s Gretsch Walnut Drumkit
Description:
For sale is a very comely Gretsch Walnut kit, which we believe is from '79. We obtained this from the estate of an esteemed East Coast Jazz drummer, who took exceptional care of his gear. Most of said gear was kept in its original boxes with all paperwork. These drums appear to have been very gently over the years. Cases are original Gretsch cases, except for the bass drum. We brought them to Village Drum here in Rhode Island, and they did a wonderful job inspecting and cleaning them up, and installing new heads. Note the one square badge-we were told that often during the transition period from the stop sign, they came mismatched occasionally. There's virtually no cracking in the finish throughout. There are a few holes for mounting-six to be exact-in the top of the bass drum which were competently filled by Village Drum. Drums can be picked up in Rhode Island or will be shipped promptly and competently. See our feedback as regards shipping-we use only first-rate materials and methods. Note: Shipping is for the bass drum only, since Ebay only allows an estimate for (1) item. You will be invoiced after purchase.
